The plot was such that I felt I had to finish the last book in the series, but did the same author even write this book? Why did the name of Varla and Merik's dragon change in the 3rd book? The grammar was atrocious...words were spelled incorrectly everywhere, many sentences didn't make sense and I found myself reading them over again, just to figure out what was trying to be said. The grammar definitely got progressively worse with each book. But the most horrible was that she changed names of characters...does she not even know her own characters?Product details

I really liked these books , I enjoyed the way the characters were developed and how they all came together, all the different ways they came together.I love the way the story made everyone a hero not just one person and it was everybody that ended the darkness kept me awake for a few nights just couldn't put it down. Hope you pen more like this one
A wonderful ending to the series. My only complaint, and what's led to a missing star, was the lack of follow through in editing. I stumbled a few times over word choices that didn't fit the theme thread, where the words in place we're grammatically correct, but not right for the passage. Other than those, I very much enjoyed the book and the series.
I found this to be an enjoyable series. There was plenty of action and good camaraderie. I think that the author needs a better editor because there were many errors in the story and many name changes and setting changes from one book to the the next. Other than that I really enjoyed the three book series. I just went with the flow.
This third installation did not disappoint and I am looking forward to another saga about this group. The action was quick, the characters are fully developed and have become quit admirable and Professor Mordecai has been revealed as . . .oops! I don't want to give that away! Some of our friends did not make it and others are still struggling with their experiences. There is still plenty to write about,
But, again with the typographical errors; clean that up and this would be five stars.

This book ends a great series with lots of battles, magic, emotions, thrills, and surprises. A great series and I must say I will miss the dragons and their riders! I may not be a teen or young adult but I enjoyed this series too. Lots of special powers are exposed and the one behind the darkness. Everything comes together nicely. The narrator is wonderful to continue the great with consistency, emotions, and so much more. Perfect for these books!
I was disappointed in this book. Oh the storyline was just as thrilling as the other 2 books. I got lost in it. What caused the disappointment was the errors and the storyline goofs. For instance the group looking for the Kings Dragon Stone had 9 dragons at the tomb. They lost one in the fight with the darkening dragons. Then all of a sudden they had 10 dragons. I wonder if the author made the mistake of trying to hurry to finish the trilogy in order to start another series? There were also more grammar errors than in the other 2 books. Please don't let this keep you from reading this book just be prepared for some confusion here and there. I did really enjoy the book.
Even though this is a YA book (ages 12-18), I was pulled through the story by the interesting and intriguing plot. The concept of riding a dragon as a military steed and of communing with it was fascinating. The Dragon Egg Stones added twists and turns to Seb and Thea's journey to become true Dragon Riders. There was just enough magic and plenty of fantasy to satisfy me. The setting reminded me of Game of Thrones, and the pull of the plot equalled how I felt when reading the Harry Potter series. I actually tried to slow down my reading speed as I neared the end because I did not want the story to be over. I would like e to read a continuation of the setting of this Dragon land, even with new characters. Malay, the Dragon, was my favorite character, btw.
